Hi, my name is Ann-Christin, I am 24 years old and a university student from Germany. Most of the time my life is pretty structured, but I love to try out new things and want to explore the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because what I remember the most from travelling are the people I met. And also because I already experienced some hospitality on one of my short trips as well and would love to give something back and spread more friendliness.

Interests

I love being outdoors and sometimes interrupt my life with a short trip on the bike or hiking.
I started travelling more only a short time ago, but I'd like to get out of my comfort zone by travelling more. In general I am especially into travelling by bike, because it gives the opportunity to feel the distance between places. But I also really like taking trains.

When I'm at home, I'm somehow always busy with my studies in Mechanical Engineering, meeting my friends, running, being involved in my student club, flying sailplanes, dancing salsa and probably a million other things, that change from time to time.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love books with strong women as protagonist, although I spend too few time with reading these and others. But Marie Benedict is definitely an author, I would recommend. She wrote some books about historical women, who did great things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Moving out from my parents home and trying out new things in my life, as I became much more open-minded and self-confident since then. Travelling alone, help with organizing food for 150 people in an event, meeting new people, sleeping in a cave, there are a lot of things I thought were great to experience. :D
