ABOUT ME

I´m 36 years old, living in Hamburg in Germany. I travel around the world for one year. I'm a special needs teacher doing a Sabbatical, so I'm really thankful, that I have the opportunity to get a dream fulfilled.
While I'm travelling I think of "less is sometimes more", so I try to have time for the city or the area I'm visiting, the people and culture.
I´m interested in people and get to know something about their view of the city they live in. That's why I think I would be a great chance.
I love beeing outside. That means going for a walk, Running, doing a hike or just walk around the city I'm visiting. And I started geocaching this year.
At the moment, I can't offer a couch in Hamburg, but I think of doing so when I'm back home.

One of my interests while traveling for one year ist to meet people who live in the city I'm visiting and get to know what they like best, when they think of "their" city.

I like nearly all kinds of music, more or less.
I like reading. I 'm interested in books about travelling or about people choosing a unconventional way of life (e.g. "Into the wild").
