My current mission is enjoy life, get to know the world, cultures and above all, people. I believe in a better world, and I think we all should (and can) do our best to get it!

ABOUT ME

Hey everybody!
I'm Anna, from Vilassar de Mar, a town near Barcelona, by the sea. I have lived here most of my life and I have to say, I like it pretty much. However, when I am here I spend lot of time in Barcelona. I have also lived abroad quite a lot: Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands and now I have just moved to Bangkok. The reasons? I like traveling, getting to know other cultures, new people and therefore I have always been willing to move to another country to study or to work. Currently I am in Bangkok doing an internship in refugee matters.

I think a better world is possible, and that's why I like doing my bit to help! And the easiest and most basic way to do it is smiling, being optimistic, positive, cheerful... and transmit all these to those that surround you.

PHILOSOPHY

Enjoy your life, that's all we really have. The individual has to be free to do as he wishes unless he harms others. That's how the world should work.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I've surfed a few couches and it has always been an amazing experience. I haven't had surfers from CS yet, but I'm willing to host anyone who wants to visit my place.

When I'm back in Barcelona it will be a real pleasure showing you the places that surround me: Barcelona city, small towns like Vilassar de Mar (where I live), the beach, the mountains behind Barcelona... and of course, our culture!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed a couple of couches in Poland and Switzerland, and I've always enjoyed so much getting to know the culture and traditions of the country from someone from there.

Centres d'intérêt

I'm interested in music and languages. I play the piano and I am super excited with my new ukelele. I love traveling and meeting new people, getting to know new cultures and traditions. I love reading novels, specially those that combine history and fiction. I like the sea and the mountains, both are interesting and relaxing plans.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

There are many interesting books, and unfortunatelly, there are more than time to read them, but I would say Amin Maalouf is my favourite writer. I love the way he combines the novel with deep reflexions, and how he always finds a way to discuss what identity is.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

Someone once said that you can learn (at least!) one thing every day. No matter what you do, there's always something new that will make us grow, will teach us something. We can share a moment and learn together!
