CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to prolong the travels everyday, wherever they may lead me. Eventually hitching a ride across the atlantic from central/south america back to europe. Anythings possible right??

ABOUT ME

I am 27 years old, and have had the travel bug since I was 18. I grew up in England playing a lot of sport but now having lived in BC Canada for 2 years after I graduated I am obsessed with snowboarding! Although after that I moved to Australia which didn't help so surfing it was! Another 2 years later and I'm traveling Central America south towards Panama. I love food and cervezas and meeting awesome people along the way. Definately not one for an office job, I need to be outside doing stuff, although sometimes I become a addicted to some embarrassing tv seasons. I also love to paint although dont do it enough, and have been lucky enough to be surrounded with such inspirational people. The friends that I meet and make are my family, the most important thing to me. I get excited about most things big or small and try to make the best out of bad situations. It definately helps staying chilled and positive on big trips :) My purpose of traveling is to find out where I really want to be, and what I really want to do. I'm still on that quest and loving it

PHILOSOPHY

bit of a cliche, but you never know whats going to happen so you've just gotta do it. If you have time to think about it, you've got time to do it. you have a choice, and when you want something bad enough and you feel it in your heart, you can get it. Personal experience has proven this to me :D

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Although I have been travelling for many years, this is the first time I have used couchsurfing, and it's amazing! I don't know why I didn't sign earlier. I have stayed with people who are on couchsurfing but through recommendations of friends, and it's been great.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed on an organic farm in El Salvador for 3 weeks through friends who found it on couchsurfing, spent some time in El Tunco with a couchsurfer but again through friends who stayed with him previously, and currently in San Jose with a fellow couch surfer who is hosting me. So far so awesome :)

I love bass music, funky breaks, electro swing and a lot of music from New Zealand. Dub FX is a favourite of mine, that guy is talented. Florence and the Machine rocks my world.
I read a lot of Jodi Picoult books, and some trashy ones to ease the brain. I love watching movies, I think True Romance is my favourite movie, that's a pretty big call.

a meteorite/shooting star so big in palenque, mexico. it looked like a big ball of fire about a 100m lighting up the midnight sky blue and green for about 5 seconds. magical
