Hi,

I have been working for a wine company for the past few years and have studied with the WSET. I am very interested in all aspects of wine production (and consumption ) and have volunteered on vineyards in Bordeaux. I love working outdoors and I love the countryside.

I am also a great lover of live music, if you ever visit us in Cheltenham I would try and take you to see as much music as possible and I love to hear new music in different places.

I have always loved travelling, I lived in Italy for about a year when I was seventeen/ eighteen and I worked in Spain for four months when I was twenty. I really enjoy meeting new people and getting to know a place, learning about local culture.

I have recently taken some time off work and have been travelling around India with my boyfriend. We met some lovely people and couchsurfing has been highly recommended to us. I had heard of it before, I have a close friend who is a big fan, but I hadn't gotten around to trying it myself, but I love the idea of going to a city and being with somebody who knows the place and can show us a bit of the culture. I would also like to host when we return, it seems like a nice way to share your location with others, help them to see the great parts of your town/city/country.

Reading, eating, music, dancing, beautiful countryside, wine. I am interested in art and like discovering smaller, independent galleries/exhibitions. I like physical work but I am also pretty happy lazing around relaxing. I also love dogs.

Music - Belle and Sebastian, Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Elbow. I like folk music and klezma, but I am quite open to most styles. If it is good I'll enjoy it.

Movies - I don't watch films that often but I am getting better. Films that I immediately think of are Comfort of Strangers, The Woman in the Fifth, Echanted, Princess Bride.

Books - Master and Margarita (Bulgakov), Nabokov in general, Murakami, Tove Jansson...Harry Potter...
