About Me

Student of Applied Economics and Finance at CBS. Currently I'm living in Copenhagen, but I come from Italy. I studied my Bachelor in Padua, but I grew up in a really nice and small town close to the border with Slovenia, where my family and some friends still live.

I love travelling, trying new experiences, meeting people, learning new things. I'm always in search for something new!

I'm a terrible cooker, but I like eating, finding new places in Copenhagen and tasting the local food of the country I'm visiting.

This space is probably not enough for describing a person, so the best thing you can do is meeting me! ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Firstly trying a new experience! A friend of mine told me amazing things about couchsurfing, so why not? Meeting new people from all over the world, sharing experiences, hearing stories, discovering new worlds and, of course, finding some places to rest when I'm travelling.

Interests

I like spending some evenings just reading a good book or listening to music with my best friend and a glass of good wine. I love walking through the streets and the arcade of my beloved Padua. Going around with my bike is one of the activities I like at most. I think the bike is the smartest way of transport: you can reach almost every place, is environmental-friendly and healthy. Can you find something better?
I'm interested in all kinds of art: I like visiting museums, art galleries and exhibitions when I have time, going to the theatre for ballets, musicals, comedies, tragedies, but especially operas (my favourite one is "Il Barbiere di Siviglia").

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: lots of different kinds. From unknown indie italian artists to most famous groups. Just some examples: Avett Brothers, Baustelle, Beatsteaks, Beirut, Coldplay, Dente, L'orso, Lo stato sociale, Mumford&Sons, Pink Floyd (thank you Daddy), The Beatles, The Smiths, The Tallest Man on Earth.

Movies: actually, I don't think to have the so-called "movie-culture", but my favourite movie is Forrest Gump, definitively. I watched it at least 30 times, I can act the dialogues!

Books: I like reading really different kind of books. My favourite are "Antigone" of Sofocle and "Candido" of Voltaire. I know they are not actually relaxing books, but the thing I apprecciate at most in reading is what you have at the end of the book, how did it change you and your point of view and what did it make you reflect on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My Erasmus semester in Vienna! Definitely one of the best experience in my life. There I met great people from all over the world and many of them are always with me close to my heart. I discovered new habits, went indeep other ways of thinking and living, saw amazing places and, of course, I had a lot of fun!

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I don't know if I would be able to teach something to you, but if you want, just ask and we can try! ;)
I'm really curious and I love learning new things: languages, habits, culture's aspects. If you are so brave to teach me how to cook something, I will be glad to do my best and not to burn anything.
