I am an elementary school teacher, originally from the US but I spent the last year teaching third grade in Thailand. I love being outdoors, hiking, skiing, sailing, surfing or just exploring!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting people who actually live in the places I am visiting, it makes the trip so much more exciting! Traveling around Europe on a tight budget for a month with my cousin and brother. Tentative itinerary> Dublin, London, Amsterdam, Prague, Vienna, Budapest, Barcelona, Seville.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sailed on a tall ship for 2 months around French Polynesia, lived in a tent for 2 months traveling around Montana backcountry, climbed the Grand Teton, worked on sea turtle conservation/research in Costa Rica, taught hundreds of kids how to sail at various community sailing centers, taught third grade in Thailand
