My name is Anna and I´m a 20-year old Student from Innsbruck, Austria. I love being out in nature, especially when hiking or paragliding.
I´m a sociable, calm person and I´m always down for a drink and a nice conversation. I love travelling, getting to know different people from different walks of life and getting to know new cultures. Wanderlust is a constant state of mind for me.
Also, I´m a big food lover. Theres nothing better than a good meal with people you like.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I find the concept really interesting, i think it gives you a good insight into the culture of a country/region, in the most authentic way possible.

Meeting and connecting with new, like-minded people is also a big bonus.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: i really don´t have a set genre that i like and the bands i listen to change almost daily, depending on my mood. I tend to listen mostly to Rap/Hip-Hop and Indie/alternative Rock but i will listen to (almost) anything, however these are the artists that i listen to most often (according to spotify): Kendrick Lamar, Tame Impala, Father John Misty, Hilltop Hoods, Joy Division and Babyshambles

Favourite films: I love anything dark and twisted, but no splatter/horror movies. Movies like Children of Men, Nightcrawler and Legend are the first movies to come to my mind. But i also really love Wes Anderson movies for their aesthetics and their often weird story lines. A movie trilogy, which will always have a special place in my heart is Lord of the Rings. (Not a fan of The Hobbit Trilogy though) And of course i love Game of Thrones :p I also love documentaries, espacially the Planet Earth series by the BBC, or anything with beautiful imagery and a narrator with a soothing voice.

Books: When i´m not flooded with books about psychology, i enjoy reading fantasy books like the game of thrones series, lord of the rings and the king killer chronicle by Patrick Rothfuss, i love how these books can take me to different worlds. Moreover, i love books about the world we live in and our society, like Who rules the world by Noam Chomsky.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the best experiences i had was scuba diving at a shipwreck in Tulamben (Indonesia). The otherwordly beauty of the ocean amazes me.
