Hi there! I'm a 22 year old girl living in the beautiful western city of Ukraine, Lviv. Have already finished studying in Polytechnic University as a software engineer and currently working as an AQA engineer.
I didn't travel a lot in my teens, that's why now I firmly decided to open a new page of my life, become open to the world and visit so many new places as possible.
Hope I'll meet many good people there from around the world and exchange different ideologies, faiths and cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I decided to get out of my comfort zone, to enrich my knowledge and get valuable life experience, I find couchsurfing as a great opportunity to do it. I think it allows to spend good time more lively, pleasantly and useful, than you can spend it just booking a hotel room. So the best thing in it for me is the ability to stay with locals, discover the culture as it really is, have language practice with native speakers, share our thoughts and ideas and basically make friends for life all over the world!

Interests

As for me, I prefer to lead an active life and take a rest outdoors with friends. Sport is my passion. I'm a good rollerskater, adore cycling, gymnastic, figure skating and badminton. I played handball as a goalkeeper some years ago and used to do horse riding. Now I try myself in freestyle wrestling.
I'm a creative girl, like to imagine smth and do it by myself: drawing characters of books, web-design and etc. Not so much time ago I started learning korean as found in that culture something close to my heart and plan to study in korea in the future.
In addition, I am a pet lover. Humsters are my special passion. I'm crazy about these soft balls of wool ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to literature, I read almost everything that falls into my hands. I'm keen on reading books. If i have to choose: read the book or watch film, obviously it will be book. I prefer fantasy, science and historical fiction.
It's really hard for me to choose the top of favourite books. But there are some of my favourite authors: George Martin, Elizabeth May, Maks Kidruk, Dan Brown, Margaret Mitchell.
Also I'm really into music, it gives me inspiration and helps to relax. I don't have any concrete preferences, I can listen everything - classical music, hip-hop, rock, k-pop... - everything which makes me feel excited. The Chainsmokers, Neffex, Alan Walker, Imagine dragons, Dua Lipa, Sia, Bts... and etc.

I love to share experiences, thoughts, ideas and belong to the curious kind of people, so whenever someone can teach me something, I will be up to learn it! In turn, I would be really glad to share my knowledge with others, for example, I can teach you self-defense techniques, some korean, ukrainian and russian languages if you want, show tricks to make your photo looks better in photoshop and to write a simple code :)

My friends say that I'm guite funny and positive person, so I can share my positives and make you laugh!
