I lived close to Cologne for most of my life. After I finished my Abitur, I decided to go study CCM (Culture& Communication & Management at Zeppelin-University in Friedrichshafen. Now I'm in my fourth semester. It's been great so far, because I got the chance to become friends with very nice and interesting people from all over the world. Being able to see the sunsets at Lake Constance everyday as well as having the opportunity to go skiing in the Alps quite often, compensates for the intense workload of my studies.
I appreciate having the mountains so close by, and a lake to swim in only a few minutes-walk away.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I spent one year in Canada during high School in the rocky mountain district
It's been a quite interesting experience with ups and downs, that means = plenty of vivid memories and new experiences.
I returned there last year for vacation purposes and traveled along the west coast, visited Vancouver Island and Vancouver, Victoria, and the National Parks in the Kootenays and other mountain regions (of the Rockies) etc.. I'm still planning to go further up north to Yellowstone National Park one day, and travel the east coast of Canada, too.
I'd also like to go backpacking in New Zealand, Australia, Ireland, Scotland, Iceland... I'd love to see la Réunion, Bali, Sri- Lanka,the Fiji Islands, Peru, Costa Rica, Zypern and many other spots. When I'll be there some day, I hope to find some couchsurfers who let me stay with them from time to time.
On the trips (I've done and I'm still up to) I've cherished (always do) the acquaintances and friendships made with persons from multiple cultural backgrounds, with different citizenships and personalities. I have a great interest in hearing stories of their life, learning about their experiences and their knowledge, and would love to share mine with them as well.

Interests

I love spending my time outdoors, camping, hiking, running, riding, biking and climbing. Besides that, I like going out with friends, going to the movies, visiting Indie and House Festivals, classical concerts, art galleries, acting performances.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jumped in a hot pool, and afterwards in a cold river bed close by, deep down in a Canyon in BC, Canada, in the middle of the night, a hundred miles away from civilization :)
