Hi you :)

I'm Anna, 23 years old and currently living in Porto, Portugal.
When I travel, I usually hitchhike and ideally without a plan.
I like to move freely and be surprised by the places and people i meet on the way.
When I'm not traveling, I study ecology and write short stories and currently my first novel. That's why I'm also always looking for some inspiration. ;)

Over the last few years, I've stuck my nose into everything that interests me. I worked in whale watching, did bird counting at the Wadden Sea, served a looot of coffee in several cafés and studied psychology for some time. But for now I work in marine research and write stories.
In my free time, I love to meet friends - for dancing, making collages or doing trips into nature. Whether it's swimming, cycling, hiking or just lying in the sun and looking at the clouds.
I am an open-minded person with a lot of energy, but also very calma and sometimes need peace and quiet to recharge my batteries, too. ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A friend showed me Couchsurfing a few years ago when we hitchhiked to Prague. I immediately thought it was cool!
I love the idea of visiting more than tourist spots in new Places. Meeting people is the way to get to know a place for real and not just the facade.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spending two months in Norway with two strangers who became great friends. Sleeping on a new beach every night, going for ice-cold swims, climbing and meeting lots of new people.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am happy to share everything I have! Mostly good mood and conversations, but I'd also love to bake my best cinnamon buns for you. ;)
Of course I am also happy to help around the house, e.g. with cooking, laundry, washing dishes or babysitting.
