Hi, what´s up world? :) My name is Anna-Maria and I'm 25 years old. My beautiful home country is Germany and I'm working as an Kindergarten teacher. I love to travel, learning about other cultures, meeting new people and to enjoy the moment. I was an Au Pair for 1 year in the USA and lived with my hostfamily in New Jersey. One of the best experiences I ever made.

I am an Au Pair in Hamilton, New Zealand at the moment and I love to travel on the other side of the world. The thing is, I almost forgot this account exists, but I’m really happy to be back again, so I can find other travelers and share stories about great adventures or epic fails :D
I like to do a lot of diffrent things, often it depents on the person I´m with. For example with my sister I wouldn´t play Volleyball or travel to a cold/freezing country and go skiing, but I can talk with her about music, shows and videogames as well as doing some city trips.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I like to meet new people and would love to find some friendships, that will last "forever" (maybe a little bit cheesy, but I mean it...In Germany we say: "Auf der selben Wellenlänge sein", which means as much as "being on the same wavelength or page" . It's nice to exchange story's and experience about topics that both are interested in. It´s also really nice to have someone, who can give me new perspectives of the world and show me some interesting places in their city. And if you speak a language, that I can´t speak, it would be awesome if you teach me, how to introduce myself in that language! Or if it isn´t too difficult, also some other nice phrases... It´s something I can teach my kids in the Kindergarten, when I come back and if I say that phrase, I will always remember my travel trip and thats just wonderful!

Secretly I hope, that some day one of the host I´m staying with, will visit Germany and I can help him or her out to stay at my place for their travel time :)

Música, películas y libros

~I like a lot of music. From "old school" music like ABBA, over to the charts with Pop, HipHop, balladen. I really enjoy Disney songs (How Far I´ll Go), Rock (Livin' On A Prayer) and Kpop (Dazzling Light).~
~Movies! Shows! TV Series! Anime! The first show which is coming in my mind is Game of Thrones :) For sure I watched a lot more, too much to write down :D ~

Algo increíble que he hecho

My Au Pair year was a wonderful time in my life. I was able to travel in the US and see a lot of beautiful places and meet many new people with amazing stories. I really appreciate all of it!

Next up is definitely my Au Pair year in New Zealand. It’s been just 5 month and I already saw most incredible nature ever! I mean, the waterfalls and beaches and mountains, it’s insane *-*

I can teach you, how to play Volleyball, you can learn a little bit of German from me and I would share my chess knowledge... but it´s not the best ;)
