Hi everyone,

I am a lawyer in Athens, Greece, with an aspiration to some day see the world!

I am an army brat and have lived in many places in my life, including Belgium and Germany. I am open and accessible (well at least I try to be) and love to meet new people and hearing about different experiences around the world.

I have graduated from an American High School in Mons, Belgium and have lived for a semester in Cologne Germany.

I used to be a swimmer for many years, but life moves on.... Now I am a mean cook, if I do say so myself!! :D

I believe that everyone has their own perspective about the simplest of things in life and I would love to learn to see matters from different points of view, therefore I talk a lot (!!!) and never judge.

Will be more that glad to meet as many of you as possible!

I am here to see the world, and what better way to do that than by meeting the locals and hosting them!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all different kinds of music, as long as I get a chill by the song! Many times I put the shuffle on youtube and it starts with a light pop song, goes to jazz and ends with Rammstein :D!

As for movies, I love the sci-fi ones, but also the 50s - 60s and modern Italian, Spanish, French and American movies, they all have such a unique technique to them. I also watch many anime series for many years and love them!

As for books, I read A LOT mostly for my job... News flash guys, the law is not very exciting... Interesting, but not exciting!!! I also love the classics... Russian authors, French and the occasional Hemingway... But who can pass up on a scandalous read from Bukowski either? Also, read the occasional manga.

So as you can get from all the above, let it be interesting, fall in my radar and I will hear, watch or read it basically...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmmm, I love my travels! I've been to many countries: Italy, Switzerland, Germany, France, Netherlands, Belgium, UK, US, United Arab Emirates...... I thing that is pretty good....

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach people Greek and English. I can also teach them swimming and cooking .

I am more than willing to explore times and again ancient Greece with my fellow couchsurfers and let them in on all the secrets of the Greek cuisine.

I would like to learn more about the cultures of all the individuals I host, see the world through their eyes and I would be glad if they introduced me to their culture and language.

I am glad to share any knowledge I might have about anything and of course my free time!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am extra neat and can only function in a clean environment! In all the destinations I would like to see the tourist attractions, which I can definitely do on my own, but I would truly appreciate if you could give me some pointers and advice on how to see things best and how to keep safe.

I am a very discreet person and if the host is busy they will not even notice I am there. If it is more convenient I can even follow the host's schedule, time-wise so they will feel more at ease.

I want to see the world, and I have come to realize that the locals are the top way to make the most of your visit and certainly one of the best ways to keep safe in a country.

I will be solo travelling, so the hosts will have to put up only with me!
