I must admit, I'm awful at spontanous 'about me's so this will need some work. But I didn't want to have a completely empty profile so here we go: brief (?) summary of me!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A friend told me about CS and I want to give it a try as I think it can be a great tool to get to know more people all around the world.

Interests

I do a lot of things at which I'm more or less good.

I'm a huge fan of sports. I love trying out new ones and in the last two years I added snowboarding, surfing, windsurfing, SUP and bouldering to the sports-I-do-semi-regularly. My favorite sport will always be swimming though as I did competitive swimming for several years.

I'm also learning to play the guitar for a few years now.

And if I can find the time and calmness I like to do all crafty things, especially crocheting.

Also, of course, traveling! Most of the times I'm too broke but I try to see lots of new places and learn new things!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: radio, alternative, rock

Books: anything I can get my hands on! I love to read. Favorite book lately is 'night train to lisbon' by Pascal Mercier. Favorite genre would be thriller I guess but I'm not picky.

Movies: I... Don't watch them a lot actually. Mostly because I get bored when watching movies on my own. Heist movies and ghibli films are always good though. (Anything but horror!)

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to share my knowledge. Be it sports or crocheting, I can at least try to teach/share with you. Same goes for language.

As about learning, I'm open for most things.
