Hi!
I'm Anna, 26 years old at the moment, former art and philosophy student who´s now working as a freelance (tattoo) artist. I live in a shared flat with 5 other wonderful people in Bonn, Germany, and we´ve always got a spare couch for people to crash on! We´re quite an international bunch, are very open minded and creative people. We´re always up for card games, interesting conversations or other activities and wouId love to learn more about other cultures as well as share stories from our own.
As this is my personal account, I´ll just add some information about myself to fill in some blanks - but consider your stay here more like a stay with 6 people rather than just with me alone :)
I am very fond of arts and music, used to play bass guitar in a psychedelic/stoner band and just love discovering new music - be it online or, preferably, on gigs. I´m working as a freelance tattoo artist in a studio in Bonn at the moment, as well as part-time in a cute little organic fashion shop in the city center. Therefore, my days are more or less packed (but in a 6-people-household, you´ve always got nice company!) Furthermore, I used to be quite active in the Scouts, thus my love hiking and camping. I consider myself a pretty active person, who always wants to do stuff, but who also does need a rest from social interactions from time to time.

I'm vegan and therefore very interested in discovering new, healthy and organic dishes. However, I'd never ever expect any host to buy/ cook vegan food for me, nor would I force a guest to adopt my diet. But I am, of course, very open to cooking sessions with my guest/host!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me, couchsurfing combines pretty much all the good characteristics of traveling: you get to see a lot, you meet new people and make amazing friends, you're immediately in contact with people who actually know the place you're staying at and can show you around. So that's definitely an awesome combination, I guess

Music: too much to list actually...I love Psychedelic/Stoner/Grunge rock, but I'm pretty much open for everything. My favorite bands are Archive, Joy Division and the Libertines I'd say

Movies: everything from Stanley Kubrick, everything from David Lynch (especially Twin Peaks), Doctor Who, Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Spirited Away, Donnie Darko, anything by Monty Python and many many more

Books/Writers: The Neverending Story, Lovecraft, Henning Mankell and many more
