About Me

My name is Anya and this is the first time I use this app. It seems that somewhere here you need to prove that you are a living person? Well, I'll try. I have been studying at Moscow University for the third year already. I study literature, culture and anthropology, in general, everything that you can brag about during smart conversations.

I love the letter L, I love ice on puddles, I love snow, I love high-rise buildings, I love records and the rustling sound of records. I love cats and dogs, I laughing, I love chocolate. I love people, I love the wrinkles in the corners of the eyes when a person smiles. I love climbing trees, I love mountains and waterfalls. I love a lot of things. I don't know, is that enough in the "about me" section?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After my third year at the university, I managed to get a visa to the United States and participate in the Work and Travel program. Work and travel haven’t started yet, but I’m already impatient.
The best way to get to know the USA is to get to know people. First of all, this is what I am looking for here (and I also have little money to rent a house).

Music, Movies, and Books

Russian Music and Russian Literature are the best for me, but it's VERY depressive. I mean, try to read Dostoevskiy for once.
Also I enjoy watching Netflix sometimes. My favorite show is Bojack Horseman.
Oh yeah, I was a potterhead. If you want to talk about movies and books about Harry Potter, then I'll be glad. However, since I am studying to be a philologist, there are still a huge number of books that we could discuss.
