About Me

Hi there! I am a master student of Global Mental Health in London. I was born in Bulgaria but have lived abroad since I was 15. I have a passion for continously learning new things, hence my love for travelling. I'm curious to know what makes different people happy and how that can be influenced by culture. I also do love a good hike in nature :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To me couchsurfing is not only a way to meet wonderful new people, but also an opportunity to get an insight into the authenticity of a new place and dive into all of its specialties and sub-cultures

Interests

I love art and travling. Love seeing (and hearing) live music, and took up climbing recently - a childhood passuon of mine thag I only now had the chance to work on. One of my favourite things while travelling though is trying all the local food

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm into alternative and psychedelic rock and random indie stuff. Currently reading 'Sapiens', which is super mind blowing, would definitely recommend. But one of my all time favourites is 'The God of Small Things' by Arundhati Roy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the very first times I hitchhiked I managed to get from Poland to the Netherlands (about 700 km) in a day.

Teach, Learn, Share

Leaning Spanish at the moment, which could do with some more practice. I can always teach Bulgarian for anyone interested.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can help out around the house and cook you something traditionally Bulgarian (like banitsa)
