I lived in anapartment complex that consistently hosted couch surfers and it was a lot of fun. I also have been getting the itch to travel and see new places and new faces and couch surfing is the way I would want to go about this.

Interessi

I like books, nature, tea, good conversations, kindness, cats, snow sometimes, but mostly sunshine.

I also love belly dance, writing fiction, crafting, creativity, and sewing costumes for bellydance and for SCA. I've been a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism for close to 4 years.

Musica, film e libri

Anything by Neil Gaiman, but most especially The Ocean at the End of the Lane, I'm recently loving Holly Black, Rae Carson, Susan Ee, I have a deep and enduring love for Robin McKinley, Sharon Shinn, and Tamora Pierce, Eve Ensler, Sandra Cisneros, and on and on.

Poets: Andrea Gibson, Sara Kay, Rainer Marie Rilke, aaaaaaah I'm blanking, but there are many more.

PS I love Miyazaki.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

I have been in Eve Ensler's The Vagina Monologues for 8 years in a row, helping to raise money for our local crisis center and other organizations that are doing work to end violence against women and girls.

I've also fought in the SCA melee battles at Estrella War. I'll explain in person. ;)
