Hello, my name is Anna and I am originally from Michigan and have been studying at Michigan State University for the past 4.5 years. As a recent college graduate who is not looking to jump into the workforce right away, I am fulfilling my itch to travel before committing to anything long term.

I enjoy meeting new people, exploring new places and I get a rush from stepping outside of my comfort zone. I am happiest when I am spending my time outside doing my favorite activities such as hiking, rock climbing, biking, running, kayaking, you name it. I am always along for the ride.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I am taking a post-graduation "Treat Yourself" trip to South America, specifically Colombia and Chile. In the past, I have always stayed in hostels but I know the best way to travel is by staying with locals. I want to soak in every ounce of culture and experience that exists around me and approach it all with a positive attitude and a friendly smile.

I like to consider myself easily teachable and am always open to learning new things people are willing to teach. I do, however, have specific interests in practicing my Spanish, learning to surf, and learning about the local food :P

I would love to share travel stories over a day climbing at the crag, a home-cooked meal or while cycling around a city.
