Myself and my boyfriend are from Newcastle in the UK, and are having a year out to travel and work abroad. We lived for three months in Spain, and then travelled around Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and Indonesia.

We are both sociable and friendly people, and would love to exchange stories and cultures with anyone we stay with.

Back in the UK I worked as a support worker, where I cared for people with disabilities. I am going to start my training in Art Therapy next year. Having done a degree in Fine Art, I am very creative and love all sorts of art - both making it and visiting exhibitions. I've done a lot of volunteering, helping with art groups at various charities aimed at vulnerable individuals. While I'm travelling I teach English online!

Tom, my boyfriend, completed a degree in Maths, very different to mine haha! For his last job he worked for Santander, but we both quit our jobs to embark on this adventure! He's also going back to university to study Public Policy.

We love exploring new cities and cultures, food, running, hiking, music, art and reading. Tom is particularly into cycling, and Anna loves yoga.

Favourite films - Forest Gump, About Time, Harry Potter, Perks of Being a Wallflower, Love Actually.

Books - I read mainly fiction, at the moment I'm reading a book called Power, it's about all the women in the world getting superpowers :D
