One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
in the chinese calendar there's a day called "ghost festival", on which the ghosts / spirits are released from the hell and can have a visit to their family in human's world (well, i personally not believe in that much, i just retell it according to the legend). on that day, after hearing some ghost-storied told by my sister, i took the elevator from my floor (20-something-th floor) to the ground. when i entered the elevator i saw a woman with long hair, looked pale, leaning against the wall at the back, i entered the elevator, facing the door and then the door closed. after a few second, i heard the sound 'iiiiik, iiiik' coming from behind. it's so creepy and i thought, 'well, wouldn't that woman be that kind of thing coming out from the hell?', while being horrified, the woman said, 'are you afraid?'. and i talked in my mind, 'well, i do!'. i wanted to get out of the elevator so badly but i stood there still, dared not to move, and the sound 'iiiik, iiiik....' continued. the woman then added, 'will you dare to do that again?', i was just more than frightened and wondered what the bloody thing i had done to her. finally the elevator reached the ground floor, i heard a girl saying, 'no, mammy, i won't do that again, i will be good'. i turned around, the girl was pushed against by the woman onto the elevator wall. things were finally clear - it was just the conversation between the mom and the daughter, and i felt relieved.
