Hi, I will be graduating from Art School in May 2016, it has taken me 7 years to graduate. It was a little challenging for me because I am a non-traditional student or a mature student. I love traveling and exploring new places and meeting new people from all over the world. I love learning about others cultures. I am married to a wonderful man who has supported my crazy life as an art student. We have been married 10 years and everyday is wonderful when you are in love with your best friend.

I think getting to stay with someone who is local is such a great idea. They know the places to go and explore or the foods to eat. They know the history of the city they live in and can teach others about the city that you wouldn't learn from google. I would love to host one day but right now I live with my daughter and we have a full house.

At age 51 I traveled abroad to study art and history in Alnwick, England. It was the first time I left my family and was on my own. It was the most amazing time of my life.
