One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't think I've done anything amazing, but I've had amazing experiences.

Last year my choir recorded Rachmaninov's All-Night Vigil, which was a transcendent experience. Our recording stayed at the top of the Billboard Classical charts for a long while, and the international reviews keep raving.

This summer I excavated an archeological site with my dad in Kansas. I've never been able to accompany him before! We found a great deal of material from a culture that was in the area that is now Kansas 1000 years ago--around the time people were farming there for the first time. The landscape is beautiful--rolling plains that give way to huge outcroppings of limestone. More sky than I can understand.
