About Me
Hello everyone! I’m on my way to finish my masters in Clinical Psychology. Before starting my training to become a therapist, I decided to take some time off and finally visit Japan which I have wanted to do for years. I did some backpacking in New Zealand a while back and loved meeting the locals through couchsurfing, hitch hiking and wwoofing. I love taking my time when traveling, getting to meet people and their different ways of living along the way. Can’t wait to meet you as well!!!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I don’t want to be just a tourist. I really want to get to know the people and the local spots and a country’s true culture.
Interests
Volleyball, Theatre, Writing, Reading, Embroidery, Crocheting, Cooking & Baking, Hiking, Looking at art, Anime/Manga, Gaming, Obsessing over Hozier lyrics, being a plant mom, traveling, History…
most of all: getting to know other people‘s interests. I love listening to people that are enthusiastic about something :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Blues, Alternative, Indie, Soul, 50s, Swing, occasionally Soundtracks, Pop, Hip Hop… I‘m more of an artist or song type of person, don’t really stick to a single genre.
Books: anything. Currently reading: Butter (Asako Yuzuki) , Paradise Garden (Elena Fischer). I used to read a lot of fantasy, now it’s mostly fiction. I like distinct writing styles and interesting characters. I occasionally read manga (Jujutsu Kaisen, Attack on Titan, Promised Neverland…) but mostly watch the anime.
Films etc: anything with a good story. Favourite Film is probably the Lord of the Rings. Favourite series Fleabag. Favourite current anime is My Hero Academia.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitch-hiked through New Zealand
Directed a few theatre plays
Herded sheep, milked cows and made my own cheese when wwoofing
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you German or English and would be very happy to improve my Japanese
I also love to exchange recipes and would love to cook or bake for you.
And I promise to send you a post card from Dresden when I’m back in Germany!
My plan is to embroider a Jeans jacket with mementos from my trip to Japan, so if you have a nice idea, tell me!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I will take some German sweets with me to share 😊
