ABOUT ME

I moved around a lot as a kid but ended up in Charlottesville, VA for high school where most of my family still lives. I didn't go to college right away and had a career training horses for 10 years up and down the east coast before deciding to go back to school in VA in 2009. I will be completing my Associates degree in Veterinary Technology in May and hope to travel the world working with exotics and wildlife in an effort to protect and conserve our environment and its creatures. I also enjoy spending my time doing things in the ourtdoors such as backpacking, rock climbing, riding my horse and playing with my dogs. I love to play music (djimbe, flute, piano, guitar), draw and paint, watch movies, read, and cook in the kitchen when I'm at home.
When I'm at work I like to be efficient in getting things done.
In friendships and relationships, I like to give as much as I recieve if not more.
In public I tend to be shy and reserved but in small company I like to speak my mind and listen to others.
What touches my soul is climbing to the top of a mountain with a fantastic view, connecting with animals, watching live music,jamming on the drums, dancing, and singing (sometimes)...

Interests

Animals- especially exotics, wildlife, and horses. Outdoors- backpacking, camping, traveling, rock climbing, swimming, running, riding motorcycles. Watching motorcycle races and movies...don't really like TV (hate commercials) or video games.
