I am currently studying sculpture at the Art Academy of Latvia, my life has been basically connected with art since I was a child, I grew up in a family of tattoo artists, I quickly became very independent which gave me a sense of resilience which in turn, mixed with an excessive sense of zinginess, resulted in several years of travelling. I have lived, studied and worked in Ardeche, Lagos, Helsinki, and Dresden, all fantastic experiences that have brightened up my life.

Now I have been living in my hometown Riga for a whole year, which I love more than anything, and I am in the final year of my Bachelor's degree.
Travelling gives me inspiration that helps me to move forward in my creative expression, I love cinema more than museums, even more if it's underground culture. At the moment I'm experimenting with sound recordings, I'm collecting an archive of interesting soundscapes. If you know how to identify your city or the village you live in, that's what I'm looking for.

I will be travelling around the south of France for the whole of September, probably working in the grapes, and my first town is Lyon.
