I love being outside, especially near bodies of water: from puddles to oceans.

I am inspired by the people around me, whether my students, my roommates or my neighbors across the street or around the globe.

I have LIVEabetes (more commonly known as diabetes). It's basically the coolest disease ever.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

hosting many folks at our home in the Lou, Cincinnati and surfing in Sacramento, Austin, Wyoming and Colorado.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had incredible couchsurfing experiences. The first time I ever couchsurfed in Austin, TX, it legitimately restored my faith in the goodness of the American people. Seriously.

My home has also hosted a number of warm showers - bikers traveling the country - for a while.

I work with high school students at a visual and performing arts school. i love seeing the world through the eyes of my students, who have the un-jaded eyes to believe in the beauty of the world, regardless of their socioeconomic background.
