COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I have only one CouchSurfing experience. It was absolutely awesome!

Interests

As I study language sciences and cultural sciences I am very intrested in other cultures and people. I learned English and Spanish at school but also I've started to learn Finnish, Swedish and Icelandic as I'm very much into Scandinavia.
I love nature and its phenomena, taking pictures of it or just lay back and relax.
I like metal but am also open for many other kinds of music.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love movies that are "different", like "99 francs", "Repo - the genetic rock opera" or "Scott Pilgrim vs. the world". But these are only a few examples from a looong list.
I'm very much into metal, especially black and death (even though most people would say you can't like both)but from time to time I like to listen to reggae or latin pop and many other kinds.
When it comes to books I'm quite open. All in all I just like to read. But most of the treasures on my bookshelf are fantasy novels of different kinds or Shakespeare's "greatest hits".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's hard to make up one thing off-the-cuff but one of the most impressive moments was when I went to Sweden for the first time, stood on a hill at sunset and below were forests and lakes as far as the eye could see. Almost brought a tear to my eye. :)
