About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travelling around New Zealand, experiencing as much as possible and always having fun!

ABOUT ME

Me and my friend are travelling since we graduated from High School 7 months ago. I've started with volunteer work in Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia, had a wonderful week in Chile and finally arrived in NZ. Here I'm on a working holiday for about 4 1/2 months. I love exploring new countries, cultures and landscapes (of which NZ has a lot to offer!). I so much enjoy the openness and warmth of the Kiwis (I do a lot of WWOOFing - volunteer work on organic farms), to share stories and exchange lifestyles.
I love hiking and exploring nature, cooking (with pleasure also for you!) and having nice talks!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I'm travelling, so I'm not able to host people. I think CS is such a perfect chance to meet people from all over the world, so after being a Surfer while I'm travelling, I'd love to share my own experiences and offer a nice couch in return as soon as I'm back.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met a CS member in Auckland and surfed on another one's couch near Westport.
That made me see how cool CS really is and how easy it is to get in contact with all kinds of people from all over the world!

Interests

I definitely love travelling around the world, meeting people and exploring culture and landscapes!
Here in NZ I found out that I'm a passionate hiker since it's the best you can do to see nature.
I also like dancing, going out for the night, playing party games or just having a good chat with other people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking up to Machu Picchu in Peru was one of the most spectacular events in my life, as much as swimming with dolpins in NZ or jumping out of a plane doing a skydive.
Working voluntarily in an orphanage and a street children's project in South America taught me so much about life and was a great experience I'm glad to have made!
