ABOUT ME
Hi there, my name is Anna.
I am 23 years old and live near the not so beautiful but definitely worth-a-visit city of Dortmund. I'm studying to become a primary school teacher, which is why I spent 5 months abroad on the stunning continent of Australia. I own an absolutely cute litte Yorkshire Terrier girl called Henri (short for Henrietta).
I think describing yourself is always pretty difficult but I'd say I'm relatively average, sometimes funny, sometimes serious, most of the time really relaxed and easy going, I hate arguing so I just never do it haha. I do not host anyone currently as my living situation just won't allow it (I live with my dad again), but I am keen on starting my couchsurfing experience as a nice, clean and friendly guest who likes to meet new people all over the world! If you'd like to have more information, just send a message.
Cheers and have a wonderful day
anna :-)
P.s. I haven't done the verification thing yet because I've been surprised it's 45€. I might do it during the next couple of days but if you have any “trust issues“, please let me know, we could skype beforehand my or your stay or find another way to “verify“ my identity for now.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to meet new people and hear their stories and what they love to do. I also think that, while travelling, living in “real“ places rather than hotels or hostels gives you a much deeper understanding of the foreign culture and how people actually live in their country.
Interests
listening to music, mostly charts or hip hop/rnb. love to go for a walk with my little dog, go jogging, out for a drink, cooking, eating, having a relaxed barbie with friends and a cold beer, an evening with my best friend and a bottle of wine, travelling to widen your horizon.
with the right people around me I like to do almost everything, I'm really open-minded and up for some fun stuff. 💁

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've done that obligatory koala-pat in Australia, nothing special really but it was sooo fluffy tho haha. Also worked on a horse property there and met the “friendly stable python“ named “Percy's son“ on my very first evening and instead of being scared or cautious, first thing I did was taking a picture of that fella. We've been friends since then and I had the opportunity to meet him a couple of times while mocking out, so if you like snakes, I can show you some lovely pictures of him haha. 🐍
Teach, Learn, Share
You do not need a cock (and what I mean is the actual animal) for the hen to lay eggs! I was super surprised when someone asked me about that once and did not seem to know that fact 😂 probably for most people it's common sense but if only one of you is enlightened now, that'll do 😅
I love to learn new languages so I am more than happy if you can teach me some words or phrases in your mother tongue. I am currently trying to brush up on my french knowledge and love to meet someone who can parle un petit peu de francais avec moi. I don't even know if this sentence is correct but nevermind 😅
What I Can Share with Hosts
If with the right person, I can be really chatty and easy to talk to, so it won't get too boring with me I guess. Apart from that, my friends at home love me for my cheesecake and I am more than happy to bake one for you as well :-) (given that I can get all the ingredients I need for it in your supermarkets)
