ABOUT ME

We are a young (well, relatively!) Canadian couple who loves to travel with meaning. We always try to get a feel for what life is like in cities we visit. We love live theater, museums, cinema, literature, and arts. But technology is also our field of both work and interest.

Interests

We prefer to stay at someone's place as opposed to a hotel or an apartment because we want to hear what local residents can tell us about their lives. We love going to museums, checking out popular parts of town, eating local food, etc.

We both practice Yoga and engage in fitness activities. My background is in Arts, I have a doctorate degree in Linguistics from a Canadian university. I run my own business plus work part-time as a Marketing/Bid Manager consultant for technology companies. In addition I study Nutrition by correspondence. My husband is a Software Engineer working for a local technology company. He has a keen interest in cinema. He also does martial arts and Yoga.

We both love science fiction and enjoy 'new-age' topics for discussions.

In other words, we are a "granola" couple who wants to travel with meaning and real-life experience.
