ABOUT ME

I am halfway through a combined International Studies/Law degree in Australia. I am living and studying for a year in Copenhagen which I am LOVING and want to experience as much of Europe as possible! I love travelling and experiencing new opportunities. I love meeting new people, especially people who can make me laugh or share a good story. I have no idea where I will be in ten years time, but I think that is kind of nice.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The experiences I have had with couch surfing have so far been unforgettable!  It really is the best way to see a city by getting to know the people who know the most about it.  Swapping stories, sharing experiences and laughing with new people is what makes travelling so much fun.

兴趣

I love listening to, playing and dancing to music - though I am not very good at it! Love reading, when I get the time for it. I am passionate about travelling and meeting new people and trying new things.

Books: The Book Thief, The Kite Runner, Shakespeare (especially Lear), A night at the museum, anything Jonathon Safran Foer, 1984, Emma. On my list are The Great Gatsby, Moby Dick and I am half way through the Stieg Larsson series.

Music: Too much to go through! Crazy about British and Australian music, especially Coldplay, The Kooks, The Wombats, Hungry kids of Hungary, Washington, Friendly Fires, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, The Jezabels, Ok Go, Mumford and Sons, Vampire Weekend, Gypsy and the Cat, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros...could go on forever. Soft spot for SOME hip-hop, and currently really enjoying exploring random jazz and blues. Also exploring some Danish music...Thomas Buttenschon and Kashmir.

Movie: All time favourite is Fargo, but I have a weakness for trashy movies as well. Love Actually, Notting Hill are films that I could quote over and over again! Love French movies and would like to get to know more Spanish films.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

In January 2011 I climbed Machu Picchu in Peru. We did a seven day trek to the ruins and it was one of the most amazing weeks of my life. The mountains are breathtaking and very spiritual. In fact the entire trip in South America unearthed places and people I once thought I could only dream of meeting.
