Hi everyone,
we are two friends from Germany and have just started an incredible journey around the world. Our adventure began in Asia, and for the past two weeks we’ve been traveling through beautiful Sri Lanka. We’ve explored the heart of the country and are now in Trincomalee, from where our journey will continue along the coast back to Colombo.

We’re already deeply touched by the kindness and helpfulness of the people here and look forward to meeting even more locals and travelers along the way. We love connecting with others, sharing stories, and learning about different cultures as we go.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We’re traveling as backpackers and one of our biggest wishes was to go on a safari, a dream we were able to fulfill here in Sri Lanka. It was absolutely amazing and breathtaking to see the animals in their natural habitat. We had such a great time driving through the parks, feeling the wind in our hair and the excitement of the wild all around us.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can help you practice German or French and if you like nature, we’re always up for a hike or a walk. We’d also be happy to cook a German meal or try out new recipes together, as we really enjoy doing that.
