ABOUT ME

I'm a 23 year old kiwi with a cheerful and easy going attitude to life. I have a passion for history and have completed studies in this area. My other love is sewing and a lot of my spare time is dedicated to dreaming up and creating garments of all kinds. I am from Wellington, the capital of New Zealand, and come from a family of 5 - I'm the youngest and have 2 older siblings. Having left home at 18 to study in another city I have a lot of experience living with other people and the considerations that come with this and some of my closest friends have resulted from initially meeting as house-mates.

I'm currently working as a temp to save money for this adventure however I'm really interested in entrepreneurs and dream of having my own business sometime in the not to distant future!

I'm an optimist and like to make the best of everything life throws at me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This summer (or NZ Winter) I am travelling around Europe with a friend from Uni hoping to see the sights, soak up the local culture and meet some great people whilst surf on friendly couches. Looking forward to showing the delights of my hometown to surfers coming to NZ when I am back home in the New Year.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is my first 'official' couch surfing experience however looking forward to meeting some great people.

Currently working my way through the 'Popular Penguins' paperback collection (reading 'Eva Luna' by Isabel Allende at present) and can't deny a soft spot for Harry Potter.
