My partner and I are both on the road and out to explore the world! We run a travel blog at www.adventureinyou.com where we document our random (mis)adventures. We love getting to know a place through friendly locals who are willing to show us around as we experience a place, "local style!"

ABOUT ME

I, Anna, was born and raised in the Philippines but my mom is part Spanish-Portuguese as well. I love eating good food, cooking (especially for our cs hosts!!!), painting, art, dancing, reading great books, and having good conversations. I decided to leave the Philippines to go backpacking for a year, visiting Europe, the US, and of course, South East Asia. During the tail end of my trip, I met a lovely Welsh man, Tom who was in the middle of a big backpacking trip as well. After many days spent exploring, lots of nights spent giggling, and a couple of countries later, we decided to try to make things work. A year later, we are still together, and are now off again to continue our life on the road.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is too short to be anything but happy! Take a chance and leap for the unknown. I think that living a life full of regrets and what if's is the worst thing that can happen. Laugh out loud, laugh at yourself, laugh until it hurts!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had the best experiences couchsurfing all over Europe. I think it is the best way to learn and discover a place. Through local recommendations, meeting other locals, and getting to know their way of life!

We both love the beach and everything to do with it! Whether its tanning and reading a book, surfing, or diving, our love for the water is something that is constant. We both love food. like...really love food!

We've done so many awesome things that its hard to choose! Cliffjumping, sky diving, cave spelunking, trekking through jungles, giving elephants a bath in the Mekong River, swimming with whalesharks and millions of sardines..seriously, we love adventure!
