Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I had a wonderful experience couchsurfing in Spring of 2014. Stayed with three hosts in a week timespan. Each host was very hospitable & welcoming. It was a wonderful experience being able to meet people with varied backgrounds and listening to their stories.
These experiences were done through my boyfriend's couchsurfing profile. Search 'Miles Qualmann' for the three reviews done by the hosts of this trip. I am the girl in his profile picture and the person in the reviews referred to as "Miles' girlfriend" :)

Now I am in New Zealand having an adventure without Miles so I created a profile for myself. I would love to do more couchsurfing, and eventually host travelers to return the favor.

Interests

I enjoy everything art (painting, ceramics, music, dance, expressive, ect.). I think learning about other cultures hands-on is a beautiful and valuable experience, therefore, I am passionate about meeting people in-depth and really immersing myself in a culture while traveling.

I also greatly enjoy the outdoors, nature, hiking and snowboarding. I try to live a natural/ healthy lifestyle by making my own soaps, living environmentally friendly, shopping locally, ect.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am not the picky type in terms of music. I listen to almost anything, as long as it is meaningful and catchy.
I enjoy watching Youtube videos/vlogs (Shaycarl, Casey Neistat, & many others).
