Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Two years ago in Norway I had some really good CouchSurfing Experiences. The hosts were really friendly, open people who did their best to make me feel home. We had a lot of fun by surfing in the snow for example :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was a Volunteer in summer 2005 at the World Youth Day in Cologne, there was a big celebration in a sokker stadion. Hundreds of people where dancing right on the field. Me and a friend of mine where also dancing there. And within minutes we were dancing with a lot of people we haven't known before. They came from all over the world. Not caring, that we don't know our names ore states, but having fun together. Some time later a person on stage told us to stop our dancing for a minute to say a prayer, the pater noster. All the people, dancing a second a go, started to build a huge circle, without saying a word. In this calm atmosphere everyone hold hands with their neighbours. And then all together we spoke the pater noster. Everybody in his or her own language. After thanking the lord for the wonderful evening, we broke the circle and restarted dancing. This silent moment and the prayer I will never forget.
