About Me
In March 2019 I packed up my life in Australia and decided to go on a hunt. I am not entirely sure what I am looking for but whatever may happen, I am excited to see what I learn along the way.
I was brought up surrounded by equality and that is a big part of who I am... What does that mean you may be thinking... well to me that means that no matter what we wear, what we eat, who we date, where we go or where we come from, we are all only human. We can only do our best and we will fail but beauty cannot be defined by a single moment. I do not assume anything about a person and do not believe or tolerant judgment of any form.
Traveling is a passion of mine because it allows me to walk on the edge of danger (food as well but we will get to that). I never know what is going to unravel on my adventures but the unknown is what drives me to do it again and again. Unless we allow ourselves to completely emerge from our comfort zones then this life would be far to easy and go way to fast.
I love food. Yes, yes, everyone loves food and that's GREAT! I am very grateful that I can eat everything and anything and I most defiantly take advantage of that. My curiosity with food triumphs the fear and I would honestly give anything a try. I love trying new food and it gets me really excited when I see a menu with no English or pictures. I feel I will live a happy life if I am to try the national dish from each Country... IN THE WHOLE WORLD!! In saying all that, if I could only eat one thing for the rest of my life, it would be lasagna for sure.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To give me faith that we can work together as a human race with the common agenda of mutual kindness and respect for one another... What better way of testing our strength than by letting a stranger through your front door.
Interests
Reading and exploring are high on my list. Alongside animals of any sort and tea. Love a good cup of tea.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music is something that I feel very deeply in my soul. Music can change my mood and experience and I can easily be brought to tears whilst hearing the passion expressed through instruments and vocals. I have a very broad interest in genres and am honestly more than happy to have my horizons widened with new music. I also love to sing.... admittedly not very well, but I cannot help but bust out a turn if I am feeling it.
If you would prefer a clear answer...
Today I have been listening to a lot of Odette, Angus and Julia Stone, Florence and the Machine.
Yesterday I listen to German hip hop.... no, I do not speak German.
Tomorrow; who knows? maybe the soundtrack of Lion King.
Movies are great. I really love the feeling of finishing a movie and thinking... ‘what the heck just happened!’ so they are probably one of my favourites, (someone please explain ‘Nobody’ to me). But honestly, as long as it has a good story behind it I am more than happy to relax on the couch and watch anything! To be fair though, usually if the movie has not tickled my pickle in the first 20 minutes, I will turn it off.
Books....
Oh yes please. I love fiction and nonfiction alike. I enjoy fantasy and romance novels as well as true crime and biographies. I can usually read a book fairly quickly, so it allows me to read pretty much anything without getting bored. I usually just go and download all the free books I can find and go from there so no real direction regarding genre.
I realize that all this just makes me seems undecided with no real opinion but that is not the case. I am just really open to enjoying the gifts of music, movies and books, granted to us by very intelligent humans and I am more than happy to try new things to the point that I will endure something I do not love because I will learn something from and appreciate it regardless.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Set of on a solo journey with no plans or restrains.... currently doing this one....
Snorkelled alongside wild sea turtles in the rocky bays surrounding the beautiful Moalboal!
Jumped of a 23m cliff whilst canyoneering.
Travelled China with my mum!
Teach, Learn, Share
I do not think I have anything to teach as such. I believe I have things to say and it is completely up to the individual how you wish to absorb that information.
Life is about learning. We are constantly growing and changing and learning and the day we stop is the day we pass on from this world. I want to listen to what you have to say, I want to debate and challenge you and I thrive off seeing another point of view. Let us bring out the philosophers in one another and let the conversation bloom! Whatever you would like to teach me I would love to learn, mostly because it is really fun to share when we are so proud of ourselves for learning, whatever that may be, in the first place.
Honestly, unless you need a cotton tip, I don't really have anything to share in terms of possessions. But my brain, I will share every inch of that with you..... and in return, that is all I expect from you.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am not too sure as of yet, but I believe that I have strong morals and positive intentions and can offer complete nonjudgmental support. We are all on our very own journey and it would be ignorant to believe the conversations and interaction we have do not alter that. I hope that we can place a positive piece into each other puzzles.
