ABOUT ME

I am an active person and like to feel productive. But I am in no way intense. I'm silly and goofy and laugh more than anyone I know.

Interests

Traveling -- I loved South America, liked the Czech Republic, and loved Spain.
Music -- I've played percussion for 14 years, music is very important to me but don't know what to do with it!
Sports -- Despite being currently out of shape, I usually am quite active and enjoy myself a good bike ride especially. Unfortunately, I've never played a game of soccer (excuse me, football) in my life. Would like to.
People -- I need friends and family in my life and miss my beloveds back in the States. But Prague provides plenty of bars to drink and be friends in.
The Outdoors - it's been an essential part of my childhood and will forever be.

Music, Movies, and Books

The book I'm reading now is The Time Traveller's Wife, by Audrey Niffenegger. It's amazing and everyone should read it. The last great books I read were The History of Love, and The Unbearable Lightness of Being.
My interests in music range wide from folk like Bob Dylan to Latin singers like Susana Baca, to pop, and rock like Portishead, Beastie Boys and The Killers to jazz and blues like Ella Fitzgerald, Milt Jackson and Taj Majal.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hiked to Macchu Picchu in Peru, and it was godly.
