About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To learn from life and welcome all it brings. To love, grow, follow dreams and connect with others
ABOUT ME
Things I love most:
My family, finding myself in a new country where I don't speak the language, learning about new cultures through languages and people, nature, reading great literary works (especially, in their original language), deep conversations, people, cooking and eating, being in the woods, biking to beaches in Vancouver, creating a community of friends in a new place, languages and cultures, watching international movies, poetry, laughing at silly things with my brother, gardens, old big trees, pondering the meaning of life and my place in this world.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is very special.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
So far, I have been hosting friends and friends of friends from all the places I used to live in (Russia, Israel, Toronto Canada), as well as a few couch-surfers. I like to make people comfortable and enjoy spontaneous and deep connections with people I meet randomly.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I hosted friends and friends of friends, and a few couch-surfers as well as airb&b guests. I stayed with a host family in Bordeaux, France and an awesome couple in Antwerp, Belgium. It was a special experience as I enjoyed the warmth of their home and the conversations we had over food. I hope someone my quests have the same experience at my home.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Moved from Russia to Israel on my own when I was 15 (with a group of other kids) and lived in a kibbutz for 3 years. Moved from Toronto to Vancouver 6 years ago, just because I liked the city, and started all over again.
Teach, Learn, Share
Can teach Russian or Hebrew, photography, some cooking. Would love to learn French, Italian, more cooking and share tango.
