ABOUT ME

All about me? Um.. Lets have a cup of coffee!
I guess I could say "I love to travel" as much as fellow couch surfers should, I studied tourism for my undergrad degree. I think what makes me a unique CS host is that I am a host-host, I try to look out for my friends and fellow CS as much as I can, whether picking them up from the airport, to giving up my queen bed and taking the couch, or treating them to diner at my favorite place. I do what I can, above and beyond to be a memorable host.

When I travel, I much rather spend a month in one place than a few days in several cities. I rather see grafitti on the walls than pay for a museum. I collect memories, not pictures. I try to walk the walk, and try to talk the talk. I send post cards rather than buy souvenirs. I loooove gastronomical tourism and have found the trifecta "bueno, bonito, y barato" to most often take place on the street corners. I'm loud, messy, sometimes irresponsibly fun.

PHILOSOPHY

karma- the love you make is equal to the love you take

slow travel. and enjoy the little things, and don't let your blood presure rise over the things that trully don't matter.

I really think the more experiences you have Couch Surfing the more possitive experiences you keep getting because the odds even themselves out. For one neg. experience I have had X5 great experiences.

Done? the only time I have ever gotten mugged, I fought back and tackled a guy.

Seen? the fjords Geringer in Norway, the Jatunyacu river where I fell in love in Ecuador, my Mayan roots in the ruins of Tikal, Guatemala.
