A 41-year-old vegan exploring the world…

Hi, I'm Anna – a passionate traveler with a love for new experiences, cultures, and great conversations!

I've been traveling full-time since 2017, nowadays spending most winters in Egypt, summers in Germany, and squeezing in some short trips in between. While I usually travel with my kids and don’t use Couchsurfing, summers are my time for solo adventures, because the kids get to spend time with their dad.

This year is extra special, as I’ll be traveling with my teenage daughter. After growing up on the road, she recently moved back to Germany for school, so our upcoming trip to Copenhagen is a great time for us to reconnect and create new memories together.

I love meeting new people, exchanging stories, and getting to know a place beyond the usual tourist sights. Whether it's hiking through nature, visiting historical sites, or discovering local (vegan) food, I’m always up for an adventure.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I bring plenty of travel stories from around the world, along with insights into homeschooling and worldschooling. If you're curious about life on the road with kids, I’m happy to share my experiences—especially how to navigate the challenges (and joys!) of solo parenting while traveling with five children. I also have many years of experience with vegan nutrition and love exchanging ideas about plant-based cooking and local vegan specialties.
