ABOUT ME

We (the boyfriend and I) have just left his homeland to return to my homeland in the States, for now anyway. We'll be heading to Sydney again at the end of August but in the meantime we'll be exploring Seattle, Portland and California. If you are in these areas we'd love to meet you!

As I travel and write about it I'm learning a lot about the world and others and in the while learning a lot about myself.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I thought I knew it all after living in Seattle for 5 years but in the Uni bubble I had just scratched the service! I am just as much exploring this city as a passing by traveler, so come join me!

At the moment we don't have a couch (literally) so I am not in shape to actually host anyone, but more than happy to just hang out!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed for my first time in Dublin over St. Paddy's Day and it was a fantastic experience. We had a great host and great fellow-surfers in the house at the time. A total of 7 newbies in that one little Dublin apartment!

I have also found quite a few friends in Florence (living and traveling) via the site. It's a great idea and I hope to utilize it more in my future travels.

In Queenstown, NZ I bungy jumped 134m (440 ft) over the Shotover River!!

Also, just that I am extremely lucky to be where I am and enjoy the world!
