ABOUT ME

I've been an elementary school teacher for 5 years and now I've taken a year off to travel the world! My last year was spent in Tokyo teaching grade three students in an international school. After my Tokyo contract, I toured Vietnam and Thailand to sight see, volunteer with elephants and learn about meditation. I plan to work on farms in France through wwoofing and cycle around the country. I'm interested in yoga and developing my connection with my physical body, mental concentration and spiritual side.

PHILOSOPHY

I live to find inner and outer peace, give to others and make connections. I believe that we all want to be heard and understood by others.

I would like to couchsurf to meet cool new people, share stories and build connections worldwide.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have used couch surfing along side warm showers during my cycling trip from France to Morocco. I am so impressed by the wonderful and kind people who have opened their homes to travelers, made time to share a meal or hang out.

兴趣

I love to practise yoga and dance. I am drawn to drumming and rhythm. I joined a Taiko drumming group in Tokyo and have an appreciation for the art and precision of it. I like any kind of free dancing and body movement to music. I love to cycle and want to learn more about bicycle maintenance.

I like reading books to help with personal growth and how to live a more fulfilling life. I like fiction, non-fiction - any good story. I like folk music and post rock. One of the most powerful concerts I've been to was Explosions in the Sky.

I lived on my own in Tokyo for 6 months and challenged myself to discover the city, discover myself in it and appreciate all that I can in a foreign culture.

I want to learn more about sustainable living and organic farming, I want to meet cyclist travellers, and I want to find and share peace with others through yoga.
