Hi, I'm living in the city centre of Liège, working nearby, cycling downslope every morning and back up in the evening ! I'm the quiet type of person, even though I like going out and it's easy here because the house's close to the lively streets.
I share a home with my sweetheart Claude, whith whom we leave for a long travel every year.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing lately because we are planning a travel to Colombia in January 2016. We heard of Couchsurfing and thought it could be a good way to travel, better than staying in a hotel.

Interests

I like photography, and I often spend my week-ends downloading pictures and editing albums. I also go jogging and, when I'm trained, hiking. Claude makes video and always has its videocamera in his pocket.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite music is rock'n'roll, and I like very much the Belgian band Girls in Hawaii. Their music makes you fly to another world. The last CDs I listened to were of Cat Stevens, Roscoe (another Belgian Band) and Radiohead.
Films : Twelve Monkeys is my favourite, it's romantic and the music is great.
I read all kinds of books. Lately I liked Alice in Wonderland very much (absurd !), and for the moment I'm reading 'Au bonheur des dames', Zola, and a spy novel of Le Carré.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The funniest holiday I took was a 8-day hike in Scotland (camping in the wild), of which 5,5 of pouring rain. Our socks were eventually rotting.
