About Me

I am in a Working Holiday for one year in New-Zealand and want to discover the hole country ! After 3 months in Queenstown working in a cute lolly shop, I put my backpack on and got ready to explore this marvelous place !
I am cheerful and enthusiastic, polite and tidy. You can count on my respectful and quiet behaviour, but also on my interest and my help to make our meeting convenient and enjoyable !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am keen on meeting local people who know about where they live and the culture of their country. I want to combine cheap travelling and happy encounter, cultural and personal sharing.

Interests

I am fond of Cinema (my studies field).
I like sports (running, swimming, fitness).
But my first passion is Travelling :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I got plenty of favourite movies, but if I had to pick up some of them I would say : "Only Lovers Left Alive" from Jim Jarmush, "Talk to her" from Pedro Almodovar, "Mommy" from Xavier Dolan... And recently I loved "N.W.A. Straight Outta Compton". I like all kind of movies and would be please to share about it with anybody !

Music : my two favourite songs at the moment are "Lean On" from Major Lazer and "Love me again" from John Newman.

Books : The Cider House Rules from John Irving.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took part in a Humanitarian rally called "4L Trophy", where I drove with my best friend from the middle of France to Morocco in an old french car from the 80's called "Renault 4L". We drove 7000kms with 1300 other old-fashioned vehicles through the desert during two weeks, carrying tons of school equipment for Moroccan children.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love languages and dream about speaking English perfectly. I am always keen on learning new words, new expressions, and would be please to teach you some French as well ! If you speak any other language, I would be glad to learn about it as well, even if it's only how to say Thank you !

I am interested in everything about kiwi culture, habits, kitchen...

What I Can Share with Hosts

My happiness and curiosity about their lives and culture, as well as my desire to share my own experience and culture.
I also love cooking and would be happy to cook something for you if we've got time !
