I am 22 years old, who is currently teaching French in an American university. I teach conversational French to beginners, that's great! I love it so far. I studied translation, anglophone literatures, civilisation and teaching. I was a teaching assistant for three years in a French middle school - loved it ! I've been to Norway, England, Ireland and now the US.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've never done it before and I must admit I think this can be a pretty nice experience to live. I would love to meet people while staying at their place, discover more about the city, share, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm not a fan of rap music, pop rock is fine - usually I listen to what's on the radio, so I don't always know the name of the artist or the name of the song even if I like it (I know ...). I love Disney's songs, I know most of them in French - I've watched some of the movies with my roommate so I may know some songs in English, though.

Concerning the books. Haha you should see my shelves in France ... so many books ! I loved the Harry Potter serie. Usually a big fan of fantasy, fantastic (sorry not a fan of Tolkien ..). I recently started Leigh Bardugo's duology "Six of Crows" and it's a "coup de coeur" (I really like the story, the characters), and will probably read the trilogy Grishas soon. I read some classics to Oscar Wilde (the importance of being earnest, dorian grey,); Shakespeare (not a big fan of the story, but had to read it for one my class). I read pretty much everything as long as I like the summary.

I prefer to watch series, but I sometimes watch movies. I like to see the adaptation of books - after I read the books of course, even if I may have done some exceptions. Action, fantastic, romance, like the books, if I'm interested in the story I will watch it.
