Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I got on here originally because what a neat idea - to connect with people and have a place to stay while traveling. I was a super host on Airbnb for some time and I understand the nuances of having random people in your home. I can provide you with numerous personal references from people with whom I’ve stayed (who are not on couchsurfing). Currently I’m looking for places to stay in Vancouver from Aug 31-Sept 13 2024 while in between two cat sitting gigs. After the second cat sitting gig, I head to Vipassana for my third (ever) 10-day meditation course. I’m incredibly clean, respectful, thoughtful and considerate of people and their spaces. For instance I close doors super quietly and I walk softly. I will go to enormous lengths to avoid a creak in the floor, so much so that if you were to witness me doing so in the early hours of the morning you’d think I was attempting to avoid falling off a ledge into hot lava - a delicate balancing act of hugging the wall. 😅

I quit my job of 14 years in 2017 based on signs from the universe and headed to Peru with faith that new work and life purpose would materialize… here now in 2024, it’s been a ride (that I am still on). And these things are becoming more clear.
