I studied Southasian Studies in Heidelberg and speak Tamil and Hindi. I have also lived in India and Nepal for some time and am really fascinated by the culture which mostly shows in my passion for the dance, music and literature. In general i love travelling and exploring new places, but am always looking for a little bit "slower" and more peaceful experience, not really the "sightseeing and have to see everything" type...apart from that i play guitar and love to sing, love trekking, running and swimming...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing for me means two things: Solidarity - because we just offer a place to sleep to a stranger and welcome her/him at home like a friend - and i am sure great friendships can arise from this experience. On the other hand it is a great way to meet people from all over the world and thus invite the world to our home whenever we cannot go out ourselves :)
