ABOUT ME

We're two Europeans, one from Brittany,
The other from and island quite literally,
We came over here for work in the sun,
But would love to travel round and have some fun,

We're based in Florida where we study the sea,
Studying shellfish is our work but also our degree,
We're only over here for a couple of years,
and are planning a road trip for when the end nears,

We're easy going people who are up for a good time,
and sincerely apologise for these dubious rhymes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At present we are 'maybe' hosting- i.e. when work isn't too busy we would love to take people on. In the future we will hopefully surf a lot as we are planning a road trip around the U.S. And when we return to Europe I think we'll carry on hosting when we can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Little/none! We have a few friends who surf and LOVE it, but we have yet to try it! We met up with our local couch surfing group last month and had a blast.

Interests

Since we've been in SW Florida- WILDLIFE! Corkscrew swamp sanctuary seems to be our second home. We love being outside as much as possible- the weather and wildlife is incredible here.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Thailand: Kao Sok National Park. We stayed in bamboo huts that floated on the lake and were woken up by gibbons calling to each other across the valley in the morning. It was truly magical.
Istanbul: of all the places we've been this place had cultures and sights that were unique- we've never seen people/places like it before or since.
